AELF-Alpha APEX Fatherhood Initiative
Strengthening Fathers · Families · Communities
AELF and Alpha APEX are partnering to re-establish the father figure as the cornerstone of the family unit. Through workshops, mentorship circles, and structured engagement activities, we equip fathers and father-figures with the emotional, financial, and educational tools to lead their households and mentor the next generation of young men in Tallahassee and Leon County.
Your gift helps us provide financial literacy training, co-parenting resources, mental health support, and direct mentorship for young men who need a positive male presence. Help us bridge the guidance gap and build legacies one father, one son, one family at a time.
Support a Teacher. AELF-TEMP Mini-Grant
Help Leon County teachers bring enrichment, leadership, and innovation into the classroom. Your gift directly funds the AELF-TEMP Mini-Grant Program, empowering educators to serve as Teacher Ambassadors who advance our mission and vision in their schools.
A contribution of $350 or more supports one teacher for the 2027 season and beyond. Every dollar goes straight to classroom impact.

A joint endeavor of the Gamma Mu Lambda, Beta Nu, and Iota Delta Chapters to upgrade the resting place of one of our beloved Founders. Jewel Charles Henry Chapman. Who helped bring the Light of Alpha to the Tallahassee/Leon County community through the founding of the Beta Nu Chapter at Florida A&M University.
Jewel Chapman served our community as a professor, dairyman, and businessman. In his honor, we will also launch a major fundraising campaign to provide scholarships that carry his legacy forward to future generations of leaders.
