Purpose of the Board

Trusted counsel from leaders who believe in the next generation.

The AELF Corporate Advisory Board exists to provide service, support, funding leads, and strategic guidance to the Alpha Educational & Leadership Foundation. Reserved exclusively for external agencies, organizations, and outside individuals — this body is distinct from our Board of Directors and is critical as we expand our reach and engagement into the larger community.

Who We're Seeking

Leaders Across the Public & Private Sectors

We are inviting applications from accomplished professionals, executives, and civic leaders whose experience, networks, and perspective can help AELF grow its visibility, credibility, and capacity. Ideal advisors bring one or more of the following:

  • Business owners and senior corporate executives
  • Public sector and government agency leaders
  • Higher education, K–12, and workforce leaders
  • Healthcare and wellness industry leaders
  • Sole business owners and entrepreneurs
  • Philanthropy, foundation, and grantmaking professionals
  • Marketing, communications, legal, finance, or technology specialists
  • Faith-based, civic, and community organization leaders

Role & Commitment

Term Length
Two-year renewable term, beginning upon appointment.
Meeting Cadence
Four (4) quarterly advisory meetings per year, hybrid in-person and virtual.
Expected Contribution
Strategic counsel, introductions, sponsorship guidance, and advocacy for AELF in your sphere of influence.
Distinction
Advisory only — no fiduciary, voting, or governance responsibility. Distinct from the AELF Board of Directors.
Recognition
Listing in the AELF Annual Report, Foundation Review, website, and invitation to signature events.
